SwingCam Tennis app for iPhone and iPad

SwingCam Tennis is a training App that can record a tennis players game capturing ONLY the moments that matter most, hence enabling the player or their coach to quickly review and analyze their strokes. Just configure the moment of capture and it will do the rest.

SwingCam Tennis eliminates the problem of video recording the entire game which occupies too much memory space in the iOS device. It also gets very time consuming and boring to watch the entire video recording due to lot of unwanted footage. SwingCam will automatically record a video ONLY when a shot is hit. No video will be recorded during the rest of the time, hence eliminating any unwanted footage between shots which makes the video very short. There is no need for any video editing.

SwingCam Tennis can also automatically take snapshots whenever a shot is hit.

The short video clip or snapshots of all the shots played can be quickly analyzed or easily shared with coaches/friends to get their feedback.

To use SwingCam Tennis, start it and

1. Select the settings button to set the capture mode. In case of Video mode, set the duration of video recording to be done before the shot is hit and after the shot is hit. In case of Snapshot mode, set the moment when the picture needs to be taken (time before/at/after the shot is hit).

2. Point your iOS device camera towards the area of play in landscape orientation and start the capture by pressing the start button. Press the same button to stop capture. The iOS device can be either mounted on a tripod or held in hand without shaking it.

3. When the capture is stopped, select the folder browse button and the captured video clip of all the shots or the snapshots will be available for review. In case of video playback, set the video playback rate at which the video needs to be played (slow motion or normal motion). Select the video to review and it will be played at the set playback rate. To view snapshots, select the snapshot to review and it will be displayed. Swipe right or left to view next or previous snapshot.

Use the import button to import shared videos/snapshots into SwingCam.

To telestrate, share or delete, slide right and make the selection. Telestrate allows user to to draw and share a freehand sketch over a recorded video or snapshots along with audio. Great feature for coaches to give feedback.
